“Autopilot” was one of 7 new musicals to be featured in the New Musicals Presentation at the inaugural “Festival” in Kingston, NY in August 2026. “The Festival” was a “Coachella - style,” 3 stage, Broadway music festival featuring the biggest names in musical theater at large.

The “Autopilot” presentation included 5 songs performed by a cast of 8 performers including Zal Owen (Harmony), Clair Rachel Howell (Wicked), Laura Stracko (Suffs), Christian McQueen (Little Shop of Horrors), and more. The music was accompanied by Jeremy Jacobs on piano and Sean McDaniel on drums, with drum arrangements by Jeremy Tolsky.

The segment was followed by a short interview of the creator, Lexi Weakley, by renowned theater journalist, Frank DiLella. With an overwhelmingly positive response from the audience, “Autopilot” became a fast favorite of many of the festival’s attendees who rushed to meet Lexi and the cast after the performance for autographs and photos. The audience buzzed with inquiries of when they might be able to finally see a full production of the show. As “Autopilot” continues to gain followers and garner excitement through word of mouth, the team is eager to see how this stop along the way will lead the show to it’s final destination.
